Print Bid Title: 2026 Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter District Category: Sidewalk Curb and Gutter District Status: Open Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 2026 SIDEWALK AND CURB & GUTTER DISTRICT #26-11 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids for the construction and repairs associated with 2026 SIDEWALK AND CURB & GUTTER DISTRICT #26-11 will be received by the City of Jamestown at the office of the City Administrator until 1:30 p. m., Thursday, March 26, 2026, at which time, or as soon thereafter as possible, all bids will be opened and read publicly. All work performed in 2026 SIDEWALK AND CURB & GUTTER DISTRICT #26-11 shall be done in accordance with the CITY OF JAMESTOWN STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, 2026, and any GENERAL CONDITIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS, CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS, & PLANS included with the PROPOSAL PACKAGE. Copies of the PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, & PROPOSAL FORMS may be obtained from the City Engineers office, Jamestown, North Dakota at a non-refundable cost of $35.00. All bids are to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials and are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope which must be addressed to the undersigned City Administrator. In a separate sealed envelope that is attached to the outside of the bid envelope, there shall be a copy of the bidder's CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE or CERTIFICATE OF RENEWAL which shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid, executed by the bidder as principal, and by a surety company authorized to do business in North Dakota, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract for performance of such work if the contract is awarded to him. Bid bonds must be executed by a principal. Signatures by other than a president, vice president, or CEO, must be accompanied by sufficient evidence (duly executed meeting minutes, resolution, power of attorney, etc.) to indicate that the signatory has the authority to bind the company or organization. All bid security shall comply with SECTIONS 48-01.2-05, and amendments thereto of the NORTH DAKOTA CENTURY CODE. There shall be endorsed upon the outside of the bid envelope containing the bid the following: 1) 2026 SIDEWALK AND CURB & GUTTER DISTRICT #26-11 2) The CLASS OF LICENSE held by the bidder. 3) The NUMBER of the bidder's license. 4) The NAME of the person, firm, or corporation submitting the bid. 5) The DATE on which the license was issued or renewed. It is the intent of the City of Jamestown to require only one (1) bid guarantee for the combined 2026 SIDEWALK AND CURB & GUTTER DISTRICT #26-11 contract. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to hold all bids until the next regularly scheduled or special meeting.
