Description

UPDATE 03/11/2026: AMENDMENT 0003 ISSUED (See detailed amendment changes at the bottom of this description. The quotation deadline has been extended to March 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM PST).

Solicitation number 36C26126Q0302 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for VANCHCS Fire and Electric Door Maintenance.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns (100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

Description of Requirements: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to perform annual fire door inspections, routine preventive maintenance, and unscheduled corrective repairs for automatic sliding doors, electric door openers, and fire doors across covered VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) locations.

AMENDMENT 0003 INFORMATION: The purpose of Amendment 0003 is to provide official Government responses to vendor Requests for Information (RFIs), incorporate revisions to the Statement of Work (SOW), restructure the Price/Cost Schedule, and extend the quotation due date.

Key Changes:

  1. Due Date Extension: The hour and date specified for receipt of quotations is hereby extended to March 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM Local Time.
  2. Location Removal: "105 Hickam Ave, Travis, AFB, CA" has been completely removed from the SOW and Door Inventory.
  3. Emergency Response: The required emergency on-site response time has been changed to 12 hours.
  4. CLIN Restructuring: CLIN 0007 (Overhead & Profit) is deleted. Quoters shall incorporate all applicable indirect costs, overhead, and profit directly into their fully burdened pricing for the remaining CLINs. The Government has established mandatory Not-To-Exceed (NTE) plug amounts for CLINs 0003, 0004, and 0005 for evaluation purposes.

Instructions to Quoters: Quoters MUST base their pricing and technical submissions on the Revised SOW and Revised Price/Cost Schedule attached to this amendment. All quoters must acknowledge receipt of Amendment 0003 by signing and returning the SF 30 with their quotation package prior to the new closing date and time.
