The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the Office of the City Engineer, 2424 14th Street, Columbus, NE. Copies of these documents for bidding purposes may be obtained from www.questcdn.com, Project # 8315727 for $15.00. Paper copies may be procured form the office of the Engineer, Kirkham Michael, 5621 NW 1st Street, Suite 400, Lincoln NE, 68521, upon fee payment of $75.00, none of which will be refunded. Bids will only be accepted from bidders receiving contact documents directly from QuestCDN or Kirkham Michael. Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Kirkham, Michael & Associates, Inc. at the above address in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Columbus. Bids may be held by the City of Columbus for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as the City of Columbus may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. .
