In accordance with South Dakota law, each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a cashier’s check or money order in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Bids must be submitted upon the printed bid form and sealed with the items being bid clearly indicated on the outside for each project. The City of Spearfish reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularities therein. Submittal must be received for evaluation by the Engineer not later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Submittals received after this time will be returned to sender without consideration.
