Print Bid Number: 20-12 Bid Title: 2020 Sidewalk Improvement Project Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: Bid 20-12: 2020 Sidewalk Improvement Project Notice is hereby given that the Town of Jackson is accepting Bids for a general contract for the construction of the 2020 Sidewalk Improvement Project. Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received until Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at: Town of Jackson Office of Town Clerk PO Box 1687 150 East Pearl Avenue Jackson WY 83001 At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids shall be sealed in in an envelope plainly marked with the Bidder’s name and the following title: “Bid No. 20-12: 2020 Sidewalk Improvement Project”. The base bid for the Project consists of the installation of approximately 3200 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter and 14,125 square feet of concrete sidewalk on the north side of Hansen Avenue from Cache Street to Redmond Street, as well as approximately 675 lineal feet of curb and gutter, 3250 square feet of concrete sidewalk, and 1675 square feet of concrete pavers on both sides of Jackson Street including plant mix street reconstruction from Broadway Avenue to Pearl Avenue. The base bid also includes associated approach/driveway work, street lighting, street restoration, sodding, minor stormwater and culvert work and all other incidentals required to complete the work. One optional alternative, plant mix street reconstruction of Pearl Avenue in the vicinity of the Jackson Street intersection. The Project Schedule generally runs from April 6 – October 15, 2020. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the Town of Jackson Engineering Division. Paper or Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Town of Jackson Public Works offices, 450 W Snow King Avenue, Jackson, Wyoming 83001. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany each bid. All bids are to be prepared in accordance with the Bidding Documents. Responsible Wyoming bidders will be given a 5% preference. The Town of Jackson reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities. The Town of Jackson may accept any bid which in its opinion best serves its interests.
