CWU – Lock Haven invites General Contractors to download documents for this project.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
Work included under this Project consists of the Captain William R. McCollum new entrance gate construction, including the demolition of existing features and the addition of masonry piers and ornamental fencing at the Lusk Run Road / Hill Street entrance to Hubert H. Jack Stadium. Site demolition and monument relocation, asphalt pavement replacement and associated earthwork, masonry pier construction, fence and gate provision and installation, site restoration, and preparation for planting (by others). Provision and installation of pier uplights and site light standard including all required footers and foundations, underground conduit, wiring, and permanent connection to the existing electrical panel at the utility pole.
Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University.
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on October 14, 2025, at 10:00 @ the Facilities Building located in Lock Haven PA 17745.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EDT on November 11, 2025, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online
Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted.
PennBid provides bid privacy, security and supplier confidentiality, while streamlining the overall procurement process. Although all solicitations are available for public viewing, interested suppliers need to register to be able to submit a bid.
