CWU-78-B: Scranton Commons Hot Water Heater Replacement
CWU – Bloomsburg campus invites Plumbing Contractors to download documents for this project.
The work shall include but not necessarily be limited to the demolition of (2) existing indirect, steam hot water storage heaters, piping, piping insulation, piping supports, fittings, valves, traps, pumps, electrical conductors, electrical disconnect and lawful disposal of demolition waste. The replacement of the existing hot water heaters shall include, but not necessarily be limited to (2) new indirect, steam storage water heaters, piping, piping insulation, piping supports, fittings, valves, traps, pumps, electrical conductors, electrical disconnect.
Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the Plumbing Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University.
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on October 9, 2025, at 9:00 am in the PA Room at Scranton Commons building on the campus of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg PA 17815.
