The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price, 13 week short-term bridge Purchase Order for (8) FTE-Emergency Managment Technicians to support the Pine Ridge IHS Ammbulance Service located in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. The vendor must be able to provide services to help ensure the Emergency Management Department can provide continuity of care and coordination of care the Pine Ridge IHS beneficiaries. The Period of Performance will be 02/14/2026 to 05/15/2026.
This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursant to FAR 6.3021, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisify angency requirements and is based on the fact that this vendor the is sole company that has required federal background clearances and credentials that can provide proprietary services.
The total estimated value is $469,600.00.Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that sole source would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objectives of our agency standardization. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely with the discretion of the Governent. A Source Sought Notice RFI-17-89551 is currenly active in SAM.gov for a longer term Purchase Order for the same service described above. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
