<p><strong>Performance and/or Design Requirements:</strong></p><p>Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is in need of Oticon brand hearing aids and parts for FY 2025-2026</p><p> </p><p><strong>Estimated Dollar Amount Not-to-Exceed:</strong> $12,000.00 </p><p><strong>Intended source: </strong>Oticon</p><p>580 Howard Ave.</p><p>Somerset, NJ 08873</p><p> </p><p><strong>Justification for single source acquisition:</strong></p><p>Oticon, Inc., together with its affiliated parent entities and subsidiaries (collectively, “Oticon”), is the sole designer and manufacturer of all Oticon-labeled hearing aids, including Oticon Own SI™, Oticon Intent™, Oticon Real™, Oticon Own™, Oticon Play PX, Oticon Opn Play™, Oticon Xceed, Oticon Xceed Play, Oticon Zircon, Oticon Ruby, Oticon More™, Oticon Opn S™, Oticon CROS, and Oticon CORS PX. Oticon is also the principal distributor of such products in the United States.</p><p> </p><p>Oticon is also the sole manufacturer and principal US distributor that provides the required accessories, such as Easy LE Adapter, Oticon EduMic, Oticon TV Adapter 3.0, Oticon ConnectClip, BTD 800a Dongle, AP1000 Adapter, and the FM10 Adapter.</p><p> </p><p>Oticon, Inc. is also the sole source I the United States for technical service of the above-mentioned equipment. If the equipment is serviced by a facility other than Oticon (or any facility designated by Oticon), all existing warranty on the product becomes void.</p><p> </p><p>No other source exists for the hearing aid equipment and accessories made by and distributed by Oticon.</p>
