Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to
Veolia ES Technical Solutions LLC, 7 Mobile Ave., Sauget, IL 62201, for the destruction of unwanted
pharmaceutical waste collected during National Drug Take Back Day scheduled for the Period of
Performance of 04/25/2026 through 06/30/2026. Veolia ES Technical Solutions is the ONLY source with
the proper state and federal permits to dispose of these materials via incineration. This notice of intent is
not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. In accordance
with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the Limited Source Documentation form is attached
with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition
Procedures. The NAICS code is 562211 and the requirement is not a total small business set-aside. A
determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this
notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
