Print Bid Title: Request for Offers: Purchase/Removal of House at 711 Main Street Category: Current Bids & RFPs Status: Closed Description: ADVERTISEMENT / REQUEST FOR OFFERS The Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) for the City of Wayne will be accepting sealed offers for purchasing and removing the house at 711 Main Street, Wayne, NE 68787. The land is not included in the sale. The offer shall also include the removal of the basement and all footings associated with the house; backfill is not required. Offers will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022. Offers may be mailed to: City of Wayne Attn: Betty McGuire, City Clerk PO Box 8 Wayne, NE 68787 Alternatively, offers may be emailed to: Offers may also be submitted in person at the City offices located at 306 Pearl Street. The following criteria should be included or noted by the Contractor when submitting the offer: House, basement and footings shall be cleared no later than May 15, 2022. Contractor is not required to backfill the property. Contractor shall provide a liability insurance policy in the amount of $1 million dollars, listing the CRA as an additional insured and waiving subrogation. Contractor must follow City moving/razing permit process.
