Print Bid Number: 20231-1 Bid Title: Development of Property around the West Fargo Sports Arena Category: City of West Fargo RFP Status: Closed Description: Development of Property around the West Fargo Sports Arena The City of West Fargo, North Dakota (the “City”), is inviting the submission of competitive proposals, pursuant to N.D.C.C. ch. 48-02.1, for the design, construction, and financing of a multi-use development in the City (the “Project”). The operation and maintenance of the Project is an additional option that may be included in a proposal as described herein. The City is undertaking the Project in conjunction with West Fargo Public Schools (the “District”). The City and the District entered into a Joint Powers Agreement (the “Joint Powers Agreement”), for the facilitation of the Project. Under the terms of the Joint Powers Agreement, the District will transfer real property to the selected proposer (the “Developer”) to design and construct the Project, on behalf of the District, in accordance with the project agreement between the City and the Developer (the “Project Agreement”). Depending upon the desires of the Developer and the District, the Developer and the District may also enter into an annual lease agreement or a management agreement to operate and maintain the Project for a set number of years, all in accordance with North Dakota law.
