Print Bid Title: Request for Proposal: Spring Tree BID 2023 Category: Public Works Status: Closed Bid Recipient: Eric Gallas. Highway Superintendent Description: Tree Bid Spring 2023 The Town of Milton Public Works Department is accepting bids for tree removal. All bids must be received by Friday 03/17/2023 at 2:00pm in the Public Works office. At that time there will be a public bid opening. The Town of Milton has identified trees in the Towns drainage right of way to be removed behind the following properties on Steeplechase Lane: 16, 20, 26, & 29. Clearing will be within a 20’ easement and will be marked by the town. All work shall be performed within said limits. See attached plan showing the easement location. All trees shall be removed and the stumps cut within 6” of the ground. All chips or brush and wood products are to be removed and disposed of by the contractor. The contractor is responsible for pervading bridge mats or a culvert to cross over the drainage ditch. The contractor shall provide the DPW with a copy of their schedule and will notify the Highway Superintendent one week before beginning the work. The work must be complete before June 30, 2023 All work will be done in the presence of the Highway Superintendent or A DPW represented.
