Military Avenue, Fremont, NE 68025, until January 18, 2023, at 11:00am CST, and be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers at that time, for construction of a bridge rehabilitation project and associated street work in Fremont, Nebraska and other work incidental thereto. The sealed bids are to be plainly marked “Attention: Fremont City Clerk, Bell Street Viaduct Rehabilitation Project, Project No. BR-11-22 - Structure No. U095014510”. The sealed bids are to be sent or submitted to the Fremont City Clerk, 400 E. Military Avenue, Fremont, NE 68025. The work shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required for the construction of: Sta. 36+72 Rehabilitate Viaduct and Rehabilitate, Repair, or Replace Adjacent Roadway and Sidewalks Copies of the Bid Documents and Specifications are on file and open to public inspection at the following locations: Speece Lewis Engineers, Inc., 906 S 26 th Street, Lincoln NE 68510 City of Fremont City Offices, 400 E. Military Avenue, Fremont NE 68025 A set of plans may be obtained from Speece Lewis Engineers, Inc., 906 S 26 th Street, Lincoln NE, 68510 for a nonrefundable fee of $80.00. Proposals must be signed and submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. Please only submit Division 5. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the City of Fremont, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of his proposal. The bidder will include an estimated time of beginning and completion for the project with the proposal. The Contractor will be allowed 160 calendar days for the completion of the work. The required substantial completion date of the project is September 1, 2023. The required final completion date of the project is September 15, 2023. The City of Fremont reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities. The City of Fremont is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
