Proposals must be received at the City Manager’s Office, City of Morgantown, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505, by Thursday, November 29, 2018. The proposals will be opened at 3:00 p.m. Hard copies of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Telephone – Voice Network Assessment Services are available from the City Manager’s Office at the same address. Selection Schedule November 2, 2018 RFP document available from Owner November 16, 2018 All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted by 4pm Questions will be answered by 4pm, November 19, 2018 November 29, 2018 Proposals received by the City no later than 3pm Proposals will be opened and read at 3pm December 6, 2018 Anticipated selection of firms for interviews December 11-14, 2018 Anticipated date of interviews December 19, 2018 Anticipated notice to negotiate contract Overview The City is seeking to modernize its telephone and voice network system. In order to invest in the best voice network solution based upon the City’s needs, the City is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to review and assess its system, discuss current and future voice network needs, and provide recommendations for any immediate remediation steps and a proposed upgrade plan (along with anticipated costs). This RFP does not include any purchasing, installation, or connection of any new equipment or programs. This will be handled with a separate RFP after the assessment has been completed and necessary upgrades determined.
