Print Bid Number: 2023-02 Bid Title: East Low Zone Water System Imp Sch B-C-D Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: SCHEDULE B –WELL HOUSE CONSTRUCTION Work UNDER THIS SCHEDULE consists of constructing a new well house along N. Rainbow Road which contains interior process piping, pumps, chemical feed systems, water and flushing main lines, outlet structures, bridge crane system, grading, ac pavement access road, fencing, electrical and mechanical. Contractor will be required, if necessary, to coordinate with other Scheduled work. SCHEDULE C –WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION Work UNDER THIS SCHEDULE consists of constructing new 12” and 16” water distribution main along Interstate 90, N. Rainbow Rd., E. Colorado Blvd, and through other easements which contains fittings, valves, fire hydrant assemblies, air release/vacuum vaults, casing pipe, two (2) open cut road crossings, one (1) bore underneath Interstate 90, and two (2) connections to existing City water main. Additional work includes installation of a flushing line from the Well House, fence removal and resetting, and grading. Contractor will be required, if necessary, to coordinate with other Scheduled work. SCHEDULE D –WATER STORAGE TANK CONSTRUCTION Work UNDER THIS SCHEDULE consists of constructing a new 1.0 MG prestressed concrete storage tank, a site access road, tank overflow and drain piping system, RCP culverts, control building, propane tank, electrical, mechanical, and solar power system. Other work includes grading, fence installation, and site restoration. Contractor will be required, if necessary, to coordinate with other Scheduled work. The City of Spearfish will receive bids by sealed paper copy to Michele Freed at the Public Works Office at 625 N 5th St, Spearfish, SD 57783. Paper Bids must be submitted upon the printed bid form and sealed with the items being bid clearly indicated on the outside for each project.
