Description
Work under this contract includes construction of a new and enlarged bituminous concrete paved parking lot, Portland cement concrete sidewalks and landscaping at the Chaplin Senior Center and Library; realignment of the intersection of Chaplin Street with Phoenixville Road (CT Route 198); and new Portland cement concrete sidewalks along portions of Chaplin Street, Phoenixville Road and into Town Hall property to meet an existing sidewalk. Incidental items of work such as a painted crosswalk, pavement markings, signage, park benches, and lighting are also included. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including spending allocation goals (25% SBE and 6.25% M/W/DisBE) and non-discrimination requirements enforced by the CHRO.
