Print Bid Number: 1 Bid Title: FEAST Senior Meal Production and MSAC Community Catering Category: MSAC Status: Awarded Description: With a change in our current four-year partnership with Just Basics, Inc., Montpelier Senior Activity Center (hereafter referred to as MSAC) is excited to announce a new and expanded role for MSAC in the popular FEAST senior nutrition program. FEAST served over 17,000 meals in FY16 and provided vital socialization for hundreds of seniors. Contractors responding to this RFP should demonstrate food service knowledge, qualifications, commitment and plans to: Maintain production and service of high-quality, good-tasting meals that meet nutrition guidelines and maximize use of fresh and local food. Meet needs of FEAST at Home meal recipients (eligible seniors and adults with disabilities in Montpelier and Berlin) who are food-insecure and homebound. (AKA “home delivered meals,” or “meals on wheels”) Maintain the popular FEAST Together meal service (AKA “congregate meals,” open to all) at our 58 Barre Street facility. Work cooperatively with community partners, staff, volunteers, labor trainees and customers. Consider cultivation of new community partners. Bid on catering service for MSAC and other city facility users (including renters), as well as to off-site locations when requested. We seek bids from qualified individuals and organizations interested in being part of this important work for our community and willing to take on the challenge of engaging in a multi-sector partnership with a municipal department in transition (MSAC) and a non-profit area agency on aging (Central Vermont Council on Aging, hereafter referred to as CVCOA). The RFP, in later sections, outlines many additional bid options. How do I use the Market Snapshot?
It summarizes awarded-contract behavior for the opportunity’s NAICS and sector, including a recent pricing band (P10–P90), momentum, and composition. Use it as context, not a guarantee.
Is the data live?
The signal updates as new awarded notices enter the system. Always validate the official award and solicitation details on SAM.gov.
What do P10 and P90 mean?
P10 is the 10th percentile award size and P90 is the 90th percentile. Together they describe the typical spread of award values.
