Description
The City of Eagle Pass (the “City”) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced and qualified engineering firms (the “Firm(s)”) to provide professional engineering services for a drainage improvement project located at the intersection of Roosevelt Street and Austin Street (the “Project”). The Project will be implemented in two phases under a single professional services agreement: Phase I – Drainage Feasibility Study: The selected Firm will perform a comprehensive drainage feasibility study to evaluate existing drainage conditions and flooding concerns at the project location and surrounding contributing drainage areas. Phase II – Final Design and Construction Documents: Upon completion and City approval of the feasibility phase, the selected Firm will prepare construction documents for the preferred drainage solution and assist with permitting and related design-phase services. The purpose of this RFQ is to identify and select a qualified engineering firm with demonstrated experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, drainage infrastructure design, and municipal stormwater improvement projects. The selected Firm must possess the technical expertise, capacity, and understanding of local and regional drainage requirements necessary to deliver the Project in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
