Print Bid Number: #2017-32 Bid Title: Recreation Center Locker Rooms Remodel Category: Public Works Status: Closed Description: RECREATION CENTER LOCKER ROOMS REMODEL CITY PROJECT #2017-32 Sealed proposals for furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools and equipment necessary or incidental to the selective demolition and the construction of new ceramic floor and wall tile, lockers, ceiling tile, painting, plumbing fixtures, roof top A/C unit to be submitted no later than 1:30 PM on the 25 th day of May 2017; by the City Finance Officer of the City of Mitchell, South Dakota in the City Hall Building after which they will be publically opened and read. The bids may be awarded by the City Council of Mitchell at their regular meeting. All proposals must be made on the blank forms prepared by the City of Mitchell and must be executed in complete accordance with the requirements contained in the “Instructions to Bidders” of the specifications. Plans and specifications are on file in the City Finance Office and may be obtained from the office of the City Engineer, 612 North Main Street, Mitchell, SD 57301. Telephone 605-995-8435. Each bid shall be addressed to the Finance Officer, 612 North Main Street, Mitchell, SD 57301 and marked: BID FOR: RECREATION CENTER LOCKER ROOMS REMODEL CITY PROJECT #2017-32 A bid bond for ten percent(10%) of the amount of the bid, such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State and countersigned by a resident agent payable to the Finance Officer of the City of Mitchell, South Dakota, must accompany the proposal as a guaranty the bidder will enter into a contract within ten (10) days after the award of the contract upon demand. Checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned after award of contract. Payment and Performance Bonds acceptable to the City of Mitchell in an amount of not less than the total bid price will be required by the City of Mitchell, South Dakota from the successful bidder. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
