Advertisement for Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Department of General Services Real Estate Services Division Project Management and Development Branch RESD-PMDB 2025-19 GEOLOGIC AND/OR CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR SITE INVESTIGATION AND REMEDIATION DESIGN FOR LEAKING PETROLEUM UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS CALIFORNIA STATE WATER RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD (STATE WATER BOARD) UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK CLEANUP FUND PROGRAM MULTIPLE SITES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA DGS PROJECT NUMBER 000000000016538 The California State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund Program, provides funding through an Emergency, Abandoned and Recalcitrant (EAR) Account for regulatory agencies to abate emergency situations or to cleanup abandoned sites or recalcitrant sites that pose a threat to human health, safety, and the environment, as a result of a petroleum release from an underground storage tank. The State Water Board and the Regional Water Quality Control Boards, along with local agencies are authorized to use the EAR Account to initiate corrective action at petroleum underground storage tank sites, which have had an unauthorized release. The State Water Board is seeking professional geologic/civil engineering services for site investigation and remediation design for leaking petroleum underground storage tank projects for multiple sites in Northern California. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California. The estimated cost is approximately $5,000,000.00.
