Description

The principal items of work and approximate quantities are:
Clean out and plug one (1) abandoned Oriskany Gas well, approximately 7,000' deep.
Prepare and restore well sites/site.
Mobilize and demobilize plugging equipment.
Beginning on the Issue Date, free copies of bid documents can be obtained by going to www.BidExpress.com, PA Department of Environmental Protection.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for November 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. Representatives from the Department will meet the contractors at the Annex Building Conference Room. We will travel to location from there.
Annex Building Coordinates: 41.118593, -78.530091
Directions: If traveling Interstate 80, use exit 111 and turn on State Route 153 North. Drive past Moshannon State Forest District Office (there is a sign in front of the office) and take the next right hand turn then bear to the right towards SB Elliott State Park to the Annex Office. If traveling south on State Route 153 to our office, turn left at SB Elliott State Park sign then bear right towards SB Elliott State Park to the Annex Office.
FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE CAUSE FOR REJECTION OF THE BID.
