City of Winooski (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2024 Road Resurfacing Contract No. STR-25-01 Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project, submitted in an opaque package labeled “2024 Paving,” will be received at Winooski City Hall, attn: Finance Director, located at 27 West Allen Street, Winooski, VT 05404, until Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A Bid tabulation will be sent to all Bidders after Bid opening. The Project includes the following Work: Pavement resurfacing three Class 3 Highways in Winooski, Vermont: 1) Hall Street between St. Peter Street and North Street, 2) Shepard Street between Hall Street and Pine Street, and 3) Audet Street between Hall Street and Pine Street. The Work includes cold planing an estimated 7,200 square yards of bituminous concrete pavement, resurfacing with an estimated 760 tons of bituminous concrete wearing course, and traffic control during construction. Add-alternate scope includes reconstruction of concrete curb and sidewalk. The Project has a Substantial Completion deadline of Friday, November 8, 2024, and a Final Completion deadline of Friday, November 15, 2024. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the Engineer. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Engineer. Special Requirements: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 8:00 am local time. The meeting will begin at the Myers Pool Facility at 62 Pine Street, Winooski, VT with a site walk to follow.
