Print Bid Title: Advertisement for Bids Grass Valley Lift Station Project Category: Request For Proposals (RFP's) Status: Closed Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF EVANSTON EVANSTON, WYOMING GRASS VALLEY LIFT STATION PROJECT The City of Evanston (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Grass Valley Lift Station Project . Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at 1200 Main Street, Evanston, Wyoming, 82930 , until September 9, 2025, at 11:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following work: Installation of pump station, lift station building, generator, wet well, and valve vault Valves and miscellaneous fittings Connection to existing structures Demolition, removal and/or abandonment of existing structures Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $1,200,000.00 - $1,400,000.00 . The Project is expected to be substantially complete by September 30 , 2026 . Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be requested from: Greg Williams, J-U-B Engineers The designated contact will be periodically sending addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated contact. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated contact. A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on August 27, 2025, at 1:00pm local time at 33 Allegiance Circle, Evanston, Wyoming, 82930. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a bid security subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Wyoming Contractors and suppliers will be given a 5% preference in bidding. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty-five (35) days after the date of the opening thereof. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. WYOMING STATE STATUTES apply to the bidding and construction of all Public Works Projects: w.s. 15-1-113; 5% Bid Bond required w.s. 16-6-102; 5% Resident Contractor Preference w.s. 16-6-104; 5% Wyoming Materials and Suppliers Preference w.s. 16-6-112; Performance Guarantee w.s. 16-6-201 - 16-6-206; Resident Labor Preference w.s. 27-3-502(f) Registration with taxing authority RESIDENT PREFERENCE(S): To receive a five percent (5%) resident preference, resident contractors and material suppliers must be state certified and receive a certificate of residency. When obtaining project bid documents, resident contractors and suppliers must indicate their residency status by providing their residency certification number. Certified resident suppliers shall submit a list of supplies and materials specific to the project, which qualify to receive preference along with company contact names and phone numbers. Contact information from resident suppliers shall be available to resident contractors to use in preparing bids and meeting Wyoming statutory requirements. The OWNER reserves the right to reject all bids if the Governing Body determines that it is in the best interest of the City to do so and reserves the right to waive any formalities as provided by law.
