Description

Full depth reclamation of existing pavement; milling of existing pavement; placement of hot mix asphalt base and surface courses; construction of driveway tie-ins, adjusting and rebuilding of inlets, manholes and valve boxes, Installing new storm drain pipes and inlets; filling of shoulder drop-offs; stabilization of disturbed areas; maintenance of traffic; and all incidental work as indicated in the Specifications or in the Special Provisions on the roadways as identified within this Invitation for Bids. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Carroll County Department of Public Works prior to bid opening. The bidder must be approved for the type of work applicable to the project. The pre-qualification application forms shall be submitted to the Division of Engineering a minimum of fifteen (15) days in advance of the bid opening. Application forms are available for download from the Department of Public Works webpage. Contact the Division of Engineering at (410) 386-2157 with any questions concerning the status of your firm’s prequalification submittal.
