Description

Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Fire Alarm System.  If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.

The U.S. government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

A site visit is required and has been scheduled for February 25, 2026 at 09:30 AM (BKK time) at U.S. Embassy Bangkok (Chancery Building), 120-122 Wireless Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. Please submit personnel information by February 20, 2026 before 15:00 PM (Bangkok time) to e-mail:  soontare@state.gov to join the site visit.

Questions regarding this solicitation may be submitted no later than 15:00 PM (Bangkok time) on February 27, 2026 to e-mail: soontare@state.gov. Questions must be in English.

Quotations must be submitted electronically to soontare@state.gov by March 9, 2026 no later than 15:30 PM (Bangkok time). No quotations will be accepted after this time. Quotations must be in English and incomplete quotations will not be accepted.
