Print Bid Title: Wooden Rail Trail Fence Category: City Manager Status: Closed Description: City of Belfast Public Bid Notice Wooden Rail Trail Fence The City of Belfast is looking to hire a contractor to construct and to install approximately 2,200 feet of protective wooden fencing along the banks of a new Rail Trail. The work involves 16 separate locations along the proposed trail. The contractor will be required to supply all materials, labor and equipment. The City has prepared a bid package which contains the required design and specifications to help qualified contractors prepare their bids. Bid packages can be procured on the City’s web site (see link below) or picked up at the City Manager’s Office or by calling 338-3370 ext 10. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked “Belfast Trail Wooden Fence” and submitted to the Belfast City Clerk’s Office, 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915 no later than 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. A public bid opening will follow immediately thereafter. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
