Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Portland Area Office, intends to award one (1) firm-fixed-price commercial services contract as a sole source basis to ScriptPro USA, Inc., pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by RFO 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government requires continuation/renewal of the operating lease for the currently installed robotic prescription dispensing system at Portland Area Indian Health Services clinics at Western Oregon Service Unit (Chemawa Indian Health Center), including maintenance, support, and an upgrade of the workflow platform server operating system to an actively supported operating system. The requirement supports outpatient pharmacy operations, medication safety, and continuity of direct patient care. See the attached statement of work for more detail. Additionally, ScriptPro USA, Inc. has demonstrated the capability to provide the equipment, maintenance, support, OEM updates, and the required upgrade of the workflow platform server operating system to an actively supported operating system within the timeframe necessary to avoid a lapse in pharmacy operations and patient-care support.

This notice is posted in accordance with 48 CFR Part 326, Subpart 326.603-3 and IHM 5.5-6, Indian Health Service must use the negotiation authority of the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47, to give preference to Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) whenever the use of that authority is authorized and practicable. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation for consideration.
