Print Bid Title: Brunswick 2026 Contract 2 - Jordan Avenue Improvements Category: Engineering Status: Open Description: The project generally consists of: The full-depth reconstruction of approximately 2,600 linear feet of the existing roadway along Jordan Avenue in Brunswick, including: Minor horizontal and vertical re-alignment of the roadway Installation of a new closed stormwater drainage system including approximately 2210 linear feet of storm drain ranging from 15” to 18” diameter pipe. Most of the storm drainage piping will include perforation to also serve as roadway base underdrain. An additional 2400 linear feet of 6” underdrain will be installed to fill in areas not covered by storm drain piping. Replacement of existing 48-inch diameter corrugated metal cross culvert with 9’ span x 7’ rise precast concrete box culvert, stream bypassing, dewatering, and erosion/sedimentation control, and maintaining atleast one-way alternating traffic. Work includes supporting and protecting existing utilities. Construction of a new 8 – 10’ wide bituminous shared-use path and associated esplanade Installation of granite curbing Construction of driveway ramps, ADA accessible ramps New guardrail and end treatments Planting of new trees and landscaping Resetting, relocation, and addition of street signage Maintaining at least one-way alternating traffic at all times Support and protection of existing utilities during construction Restoration and other ancillary work as described in the Contract Documents.
