CWU-44-B: Upgrades to Haas Performing Arts Center
CWU – Bloomsburg campus invites General Contractors, Mechanical and Electrical Contractors to download documents for this project.
Work included under this Project consists of exterior renovations such as installation of aluminum curtain wall assemblies, accent lighting, and pin-mount aluminum signage, and repair of existing concrete columns. It also includes interior renovations such as addition of sound booth, lobby area performance platform, platform lift for access to main stage, replacement of acoustical treatments, installation of interior partitions, doors, millwork, hanging display systems, ceilings, and other finishes, installation of steel lintels and miscellaneous support framing, and associated modification of existing mechanical, plumbing, electrical, telecommunications, and lighting systems. Work identified under Alternate No. 1 includes replacement of acoustical wall
treatments at the rear wall of the Auditorium. Work identified under Alternate No. 2 includes installing cladding assemblies at (5) existing exterior columns.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract

A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on December 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Haas Mitrani Lobby in the Haas Performing Arts Center on the campus of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg PA 17815.
