Description
The CITY OF KENNEWICK is requesting proposals from qualified firms to perform engineering services for the P2508 Ranney Collector 5 (RC5) Treatment project. Proposals will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., March 24, 2026. The project is funded in part by a federal loan from the Department of Health (DOH) Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT is anticipated to include, but not limited to, project management, detailed design (60% through 100%), preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimate, compliance with federal funding requirements including Build America Buy America (BABA) and American Iron and Steel (AIS), geotechnical investigation, project bid support, and construction support. The City recently completed the initial engineering design effort including 30% plans and preliminary engineering report, but due to federal funding requirements the City is required to re-solicit the engineering services for the remaining project. The CITY OF KENNEWICK reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Proposal” (RFP) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFP at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
