Print Bid Number: Bid Call 2022-07 Bid Title: Recreation Equipment and Amenities Woodburn Community Playground Category: Construction Status: Closed Description: The City of Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia is seeking sealed bids in response to a Request for Bids (RFB) to provide recreation equipment and amenities at the Woodburn Community Playground. One (1) original and a camera-ready electronic copy of the written bid must be submitted to the City of Morgantown no later than 3:00 p.m., prevailing time, on Monday, March 14, 2022. Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Bid Call No. 2022-07 - Playground Equipment and Amenities" and submitted in a sealed envelope prior to the bid deadline. Only written and sealed bids will be accepted. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. Any bid received after the time and date bids are due, will be returned unopened. The original version of the bid must be signed by an authorized individual to bind the company and bids must be valid for 90 days. Bids must be submitted to: City of Morgantown City Manager’s Office 389 Spruce Street Morgantown, WV 26508 Attn: Vanessa Reaves, Special Projects Coordinator General Specifications and Bid Documents are available and may be obtained by contacting Vanessa Reaves, Special Projects Coordinator by phone at 304-225-4218 (711 for hearing impaired) or by email at . The tentative procurement schedule, which includes a mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting and a request for clarification deadline, is included in the RFB packet. A five-percent (5%) bid bond or certified cashier’s check must accompany all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn after the time set for the bid opening, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The City of Morgantown reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City of Morgantown. The City of Morgantown encourages Minority-Owned Businesses, Women-Owned Businesses, Small Business Enterprises, and Section 3 Firms to respond to this request for bids.
