Print Bid Title: Sound and Lighting Bid for HRM Amphitheater Category: Engineering Status: Closed Description: Project description: The City of Morgantown Arts and Cultural Development Department is seeking bids for a professional production company to provide sound, lighting, and technical support for the 2022 Ruby Summer Concert Series at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park. The series will run from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and will consist of 15-18 events. Free weekly Friday night concerts as well as other special events and performances will be planned in conjunction with the production company. View the full bid post here or under the related documents section of this post. How to Bid: A two-envelope system will be used. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Envelope No. 1 must contain the Bid Bond, Certification of Compliance, Power of Attorney, and all other necessary documents required on the Bid Opening Checklist. Envelope No. 2 must be a separate, sealed envelope marked "Bid Proposal" and must contain the completed and signed Bid Proposal. If the documents are not in order, the envelope containing the Bid Proposal will not be opened and the Bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder. Both envelopes must have the following information in the lower left-hand corner. Name and address of Bidder, "Bid on 2022-06 Amphitheater Sound, Lighting and Technical Support", City of Morgantown, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia 26505. To be opened on February 23, 2022 . The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: City of Morgantown Arts and Cultural Development Department, 389 Spruce Street, 304-284-7472. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents online at http://morgantownwv.gov/bids.aspx Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $50.00 for each set. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “City of Morgantown.” Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
