Description
This is a resolicitation attempt to this project, previously solicited under IFB 125453 which was canceled. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to remove and replace six (6) exterior heavy metal doors at the San Francisco Armory in accordance with the specifications found in the Scope of Work. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 126772, Door Removal and Replacement and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders can attend an optional pre-bid job walk at San Francisco Armory, 100 Armory Drive, San Francisco, CA 94132 at their discretion. The job walk is by appointment only and you must contact either CPT Sawtelle at garrett.sawtelle@cmd.ca.gov, (714) 631-2063 or Brandy Llamas at brandy.llamas@cmd.ca.gov, (925) 351-9716. If you do so, please arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov. The prime contractor MUST possess a type B - General Building Contractor license OR a D-28 - Doors, Gates and Activating Devices license. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Jordan Bernal at Jordan.Bernal@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 3/12/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 126772. If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 3/19/2026 at 2:15 PM.
