The requirement is for the providing of health insurance services to the Locally hired employees of the United States Mission in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The estimated number of employees is approximately 108 with approximately 220 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with two one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All qualified sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.
The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
SAM registration is not required; however, qualified offerors must have a valid CAGE/N-CAGE code for verification.
