Print Bid Title: Campbell County Request Proposals of Auction Service Providers Category: Commissioners Status: Closed Description: Request for Proposal Campbell County, Wyoming is requesting proposals from auction service providers. Proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be received by March 21, 2025. Campbell County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any minor informality. Project Goal To retain an auction service to advertise and hold auction for County owned surplus property. County surplus items include vehicles, computers, furniture, and other miscellaneous items. The County is looking for an auction sometime between June to Aug 2025. Scope of Service/County Requirements A notice, stating the time and place of the auction and a description of items to be sold, shall be published in a newspaper having general circulation in the County at least once per week for a period of four (4) weeks immediately prior to auction. The ads must be approved by the County before each sale. Items advertised for auction that do not sell will become property of the auction service. Auction will be held on site of old Road and Bridge location at 1704 S 4-J Rd, Gillette WY. Auctioneer will provide restroom facilities and dumpsters if needed. Auctioneer must possess a Wyoming Auction Business License and insurance from the State of Wyoming. Submission of Proposal Proposals are due to Kristen Verhelst, Accounting Specialist, 500 South Gillette Ave., Suite 1600 Gillette, WY 82716 or email by March 21, 2025. Proposals shall include the total percentage of sale price to be retained by the auction provider and any additional fees associated with the disposal of the items.
