Print Bid Title: Request for Proposals for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Category: Public Works Status: Closed Description: The Town of Milton, VT (the "Town") is soliciting proposals from solar energy providers (each a “Developer”) to design, install, finance, own, operate and maintain at least two photovoltaic systems (each a "System") at certain Town sites a portion of each the Town anticipates leasing/licensing to the winning bidder (the “Winning Bidder”). The Town would like to lease available acreage at its Wastewater Treatment Facility (the “WWTF”) located at 145 Lamoille Terrace and at its closed landfill site at 20 Landfill Road (the “Landfill”, together with the WWTF, the “Sites”) both located in Milton, Vermont to the Winning Bidder to own, operate and maintain both Systems for the duration of long-term lease agreements for the Town’s benefit. Key Dates: July 7, 2022: Release of Request for Proposals July 13, 2022: Site Visit July 15, 2022: Questions due Consultant July 27, 2022: Proposals Due No later than August 14, 2022: Selection of the Winning Bidder Proposal Submission Instructions: Developers should submit their proposals electronically preferably in a single .pdf format (if too large to send, a Dropbox link (or something similar) should be utilized) to Kirt Mayland at Frontage Road Land, LLC at no later than 2:00 PM on July 27, 2022. Answer: Subject to ANR review and approval, at this point in time the Town has no other planned uses for this area and would be amenable to hearing solar proposals regarding panel installation in this area.
