Print Bid Number: 16036-2023-001 Bid Title: Hill Street Booster Station Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: The Work shall be completed under one Contract and consists of all labor, skill and materials required to properly construct the Project. The Project generally consists of the following primary components: Installation of water main and services; a new booster pump station consisting of a masonry block exterior, pitched metal roof, concrete floor, and appurtenances; process piping, fittings, valves, pumps, magnetic flow meter, and appurtenances; earthwork and grading, gravel, curb and gutter, and asphalt paving; mechanical and electrical work for the pump station building; and associated work as shown on the plans. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Forms provided and in accordance with the Bidding Documents. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed at the City of Spearfish City Hall. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or a bank draft drawn on a State or National Bank for five percent (5%) of the amount bid payable to Stencil Group II, LLC or in lieu thereof a Bidder’s Bond executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to the Stencil Group II, LLC, in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of the Bid. This is to serve as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract within 15 days of Notice of Award in accordance with the terms of the principal’s Bond and a contractor’s Bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the governing board for the performances of such Work. The checks of unsuccessful bidders will be returned within ninety (90) days after the bids have been opened. Only Bids that are accompanied by such a Bond will be considered. Sealed bids for the construction of the Stencil Group Booster Station for the Stencil Group II, LLC, will be received until 9:00 AM local time on April 30, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids can be mailed or delivered to: City of Spearfish City Hall, Attn: Hill St Booster Station Bid625 N 5th St, Spearfish, SD 57783 Bids may also be delivered to the City of Spearfish Public Works Window which is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The bid opening will be held at 9:00 AM Mountain Time on April 30, 2025, at the Council Chambers at City Hall, 625 N 5th St, Spearfish, SD 57783 as well as online via a Zoom Meeting.
