Subscribe Bid Notices Great American Rail Trail Feasibility Study Department: Conservation Deadline: March 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Pottawattamie Conservation and Pottawattamie County (collectively, the County), in coordination with the Pottawattamie County Trails Association (PCTA), is soliciting statements of qualifications and proposals from qualified consulting firms to prepare a Feasibility Study for the development of a regional multi-use trail in a previously identified corridor between Underwood, Iowa and Atlantic, Iowa (the Project). This Project would potentially site the remaining unplanned portions of the Rails to Trails Conservancy’s Great American Rail Trail (GART) in Pottawattamie County and portions of the GART in Cass County.
