Print Bid Number: 20200514 Bid Title: RFP IT Management and Maintenance Service Provider Category: Finance Status: Closed Description: Summary of the City’s Objectives: The City of Montpelier is seeking qualified Information Technology (IT) Services Providers to assist/manage IT related functions that are to include: server & network administration, server & network monitoring, desktop support & administration, service desk support, onsite & remote support security, planning and reports, 3rd party vendor support, IT Director Services. The City is interested in either a hybrid premise based model with an eye toward moving to the Cloud or direct migration to the Cloud with a fully hosted desktop environment. The preferred vendor will provide comprehensive support and expertise needed to ensure the City’s information technology systems enable municipal operations on a daily basis, as well as providing over all guidance for network enhancements, education, and future growth. The proposal should include an evaluation and plan to advance the City’s technologies to modern systems and software. This would include the upgrade to Windows 10 workstations and Office 365 Cloud Services.
