Print Bid Title: 2024 Traffic Signal Improvements Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Closed Description: Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk in the City Building, 400 East Military Avenue, Fremont, Nebraska, until 2:00 p.m., April 8, 2024, and be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers at that time for all tools, labor and materials necessary to complete the work required for 2024 TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS as per the Plans and Specifications prepared by the Engineering Department and on file with the City Clerk. ESTIMATE OF QUANTITIES Three traffic signal modifications occurring at 23rd and Clarkson Street, 23rd Street and Bell Street, and 23rd Street and Luther Road. The work is generally described as traffic signal upgrades, including new equipment, conduit, conductor, detection, signal poles, signal heads, sidewalk, and curb ramps. Contractors that are qualified to bid must obtain the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents from JEO Consulting Group Inc. An optional paper set of project documents is available for a nonrefundable price of $100 per set. In order to bid on the project, the contract documents must be issued directly by JEO Consulting Group, Inc. or QuestCDN to the bidder. The download delivery fee is $30.00; the file size is 18 MB. All work shall conform to the City of Fremont’s Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction latest edition and Nebraska Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2017 edition. The contractor shall commence work as soon as practical after execution of the contract and complete the work no later than November 20, 2024.
