Bids will be viewed and read aloud via video conference at 2:00PM CST at Barr Engineering Co., 4585 Coleman Street, Suite 210, Bismarck, ND. The Project includes the following Work: Little Roosevelt Dam Modifications – Generally consisting of installing rock riffles downstream of the existing dam, installing riprap on the north river bank, and modifying a gate well on the north river bank.Digital project bidding documents will be available at www.questcdn.com . Any companies/teams/joint ventures planning to submit a bid are encouraged to have at least one representative attend the voluntary pre-bid conference. Potential bidders may submit questions via the QuestCDN website for the project.Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond in a sum equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal’s bid is accepted and a contract is awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten (10) days after the notice of the award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and the bid bond, and any conditions of the City of Minot, as required by law. A countersignature of a bid bond is not required. If the City of Minot elects to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, and the lowest responsible bidder does not execute a contract within ten (10) days, the bidder’s bond will be forfeited to the City of Minot, and the City of Minot may award the project to the next lowest responsible bidder. Each bidder must possess a valid North Dakota contractor’s license for the full amount of their bid, as required by Section 43-07-07 of the North Dakota Century Code. Each bidder MUST enclose a copy of their Contractor’s License or Certificate of Renewal, issued by the North Dakota Secretary of State, and each license must be valid and dated at least 10 days prior to the date set for bid opening, as required under Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code. No bid may be read or considered if it does not fully comply with the bidding requirements of Section 48-01.2 of the North Dakota Century Code, and any deficient bid submitted will not be opened.The City of Minot reserves the right to hold all Bids for a period of 30 days after the date of the bid opening, to reject any or all Bids and to rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received, and to waive any informality or irregularity in any Bid. The City of Minot is a Title VI community. Title VI assures that no person or group of persons may, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any and all programs or activities administered by the City.
