Print Bid Title: Request for Proposals for Design and Construction Administration Services Category: Administration Status: Closed Description: The City of Bismarck is requesting written qualification proposals from professional architectural, parking facility or engineering firms for full design and construction administration services for up to two proposed parking facilities. The selected firm will work in conjunction with the City to produce design and construction documents for up to two proposed multi-story parking facilities. The project site is located in the immediate vicinity of the intersection of 5th Street and Bowen Avenue. Sub consultants, if any, will be contracted directly by the design firm that is selected by the City’s Consultant Selection Committee. The scope of design services will include schematic, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscaping. Cost estimates for the project must be provided as an integral part of the design effort. The selected firm will prepare all bidding and construction documents, guide the project through the City of Bismarck approval process and provide construction administration services. The design of the project must be completed within 8 months of a notice to proceed. To obtain copies of the complete Request for Proposals, anticipated schedule and the City’s policy on the selection and use of professional design consultants, interested parties should contact: City of Bismarck Administration Department 221 N 5th Street, 4th Floor Bismarck ND 58501 Telephone (701) 355-1300 Fax (701) 222-6470 Written proposals from qualified consultants should be sealed and marked “Proposals for Design and Construction Administration Services” and will be accepted by the City of Bismarck Administration Department, 221 N 5th Street, 4th Floor, Bismarck, ND 58501 until 5:00 PM on January 29, 2016. Proposals shall be limited to 20 pages in length, including any appendices the consultant may wish to include. Eight (8) complete copies of the proposal shall be submitted. Oral interviews may be conducted by the city. It is anticipated that this selection will be made prior to February 17, 2016.
