Print Bid Title: City Hall Renovation and Upgrade Project Category: Engineering Status: Closed Description: The City of Morgantown requests statements of qualifications from architecture and engineering firms to provide professional services for design, bidding and Construction Administration and Construction Inspection services in connection with the City Hall Renovation and Upgrade Project. Interested firms must attend a mandatory pre-submission walkthrough conference at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at City Hall, located at 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Proposals must be received on or before 3:00 p.m., December 20, 2021 at the office of the City Manager, 430 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Detailed information as to the specific services requested and the requisite content of written statement of qualifications submissions are set forth in the related Request for Qualifications, which can be obtained at http://morgantownwv.gov/bids.aspx or by contacting Ms. Erin Fullmer at 304-284-7412 or . Proposals may be held by the City of Morgantown for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date the proposals are due. The Architecture and/or Engineering Firm selected will be required to provide advice, alternatives, and design for the following improvements: Evaluation of building improvement needs and options. Coordination with executive staff of use of space. Coordinate with adjacent property owners / utility companies as needed. Coordinate review and approvals with State and local officials including SHPO, OSFM, Morgantown Code Enforcement, etc. Designing improvements within available budgets. Developing a construction timeline. Preparation of construction drawings and specifications Preparation of preliminary construction cost estimates. Preparation of final budget cost estimates for the improvements. Preparation of bidding documents for the work. Administration services during the construction phase.
