SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Detention Center (FDC), Philadelphia located (FDC Philadelphia) at 700 Arch St. Philadelphia, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity, to purchase all materials for upgrading the flush valve system.
This Sources Sought notice is issued for market research purposes only in accordance with FAR Part 10. The Government is seeking information from qualified sources capable of supplying materials for an upgrade to an existing flush valve system.
The Government requires brand-name only Sloan flush valve system components to ensure compatibility with existing installed equipment. The brand name is referenced solely to identify the Government's minimum requirements. No substituions or "equal" products will be accepted for these items.
Respondents shall demonstrate the ability to supply new, genuine Sloan OEM parts that are fully compatible with existing Sloan flush valve systems and covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty.
This requirement also includes Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) plumbing and electrical acceossories (e.g. fittings, nipples, elbows, clamps, end stops and similar items) for which brand-name restrictions do not apply.
COTS items shall meet the salient characteristics and applicable industry standards identified in this Sources Sought Notice and accompanying draft specifications.
