Print Bid Number: 2026-07 Bid Title: Morgantown Bike Skills Pump Track Category: Construction Status: Closed Bid Recipient: City of Morgantown Description: Sealed bids for the construction of Morgantown’s Bike Skills Pump Track Project will be received by the City of Morgantown at the office of the Finance Director until 3:00 p.m. on November 6, 2025, local prevailing time; at which time and place, said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bidders must provide documentation to show they are qualified and have a successful history of building skateparks and pump tracks. Experience with general concrete or paving projects is not a suitable substitute. A two-envelope system will be used – see project manual for details. The project generally consists of site preparation and construction of a concrete skatepark including a halfpipe and a mini-ramp, a series of asphaltic concrete bike skills features such as progressive jumps and bank returns, accessible pathways, seating, parking and a bike repair stand below Whitemore Park, along Deckers Creek Trail near Valley Crossing. This project is being funded, either wholly or partly, with a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant and the project and contractor shall be subject to all terms and conditions of the grant award. There will be an Pre-bid meeting on October 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM in City Council Chambers, 389 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV 26505. Attendance at the pre-bid conference and site visits are highly encouraged but is not mandatory. The issuing office for Bidding Documents is the City of Morgantown.
