Print Bid Title: Tanker Apparatus Bid Category: Fire Department Status: Open Description: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) TANKER APPARATUS The Town of Pelham Fire Department is soliciting requests for proposals (RFP) for design and manufacture of a new tanker fire apparatus. Written proposals and costs shall be received by the Pelham Fire Department no later than March 6, 2026, at 3:00pm EST. Responses by telephone, fax or email will not be accepted. This is a sealed public bid opening being conducted at the Pelham Fire Department on March 6, 2026, at 4:00pm EST. Envelopes shall be clearly marked and mailed to: Pelham Fire Department Tanker Proposal 36 Village Green Pelham, NH 03076 The proposed apparatus will be evaluated as to its ability to meet the standards as discussed herein: the proposing manufacturer’s reputation, capability and experience with like apparatus; proven reliability of the manufacturer’s similar apparatus; the manufacturer’s description and understanding of the desired apparatus; and cost of the proposed apparatus. This proposal is to design, construct and deliver to the Town of Pelham’s Fire Department one complete tanker fire apparatus that conforms to the applicable requirements, current at the date of manufacture, of the National Fire Protection Association “Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus” NFPA 1901; and meets all of the requirements set forth in the Town of Pelham’s specifications for this fire apparatus. Any and all exceptions to the requirements of this RFP must be identified and fully explained in the submitted proposal. All questions pertaining to the specifications of this RFP should be directed to Fire Chief Daniel Newman ( ) or Lieutenant John Ignatowicz ( ) at the Town of Pelham Fire Department, 36 Village Green, Pelham, NH 03076. The Apparatus Committee and Fire Chief will make recommendations to the Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen that the contract award is made to the manufacturer that is in the Committee’s and Chief’s opinion, most qualified. Decisions will be based on what is in the best interest of the Town of Pelham and the Fire Department.
