Print Bid Title: Strucure Razing: 2nd & Nebraska Street Category: Current Bids & RFPs Status: Closed Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) for the City of Wayne will be accepting sealed bids for the razing of one (1) structure (approximately 148' long x 42' wide x 21' side walls) and that structure's concrete foundation as well as another concrete foundation immediately to its south located at 2nd and Nebraska Street, Wayne, Nebraska. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022, and awarded no later than September 27, 2022. Bids may be emailed to , mailed to or dropped off in person at City offices: City of Wayne Attn: Betty McGuire, City Clerk 306 Pearl Street PO Box 8 Wayne, NE 68787 The CRA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Certified hazardous materials inspection and removal has been completed by the CRA. The following criteria should be included or noted by the Contractor when submitting the bid: Demolition to include one (1) structure and two (2) concrete foundations (completely removed) Demolition shall be completed by November 15, 2022 Site shall be fine graded to match neighboring properties to eliminate any ponding of water in preparation for seeding Contractor shall provide a liability insurance policy in the amount of $1 million, listing the CRA as an additional insured and waiving subrogation Demolition materials must be taken to a licensed landfill. Contractor shall have salvage rights to materials.
