Print Bid Title: Campbell County Parks & Recreation RFP for lawn care services Category: Parks and Recreation Status: Closed Description: Campbell County Parks and Recreation (CCPRD) are requesting proposals from lawn care service providers. Proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be received by April 17, 2025. CCPRD reserves the right to reject all proposals and to waive any minor informality. Project Goal To retain a lawn care provider for Campbell County government property. This would include mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and spraying for weeds in both turf and non-turf areas. CCPRD is looking for lawn care between early May to the first part of October (23 weeks). Scope of Service/County Requirements 4-J Site will include all County Facilities along 4-J Road. These Facilities are Children’s Developmental Services Annex, Children’s Developmental Services, Campbell County Public Library, Campbell County Public Health, Half-Pipe Alley Skate Park and undeveloped property south to Lakeway. Courthouse Site will include property on or around the Campbell County Parking Garage, Campbell County Courthouse, GAMB, Beulah Underwood Park (West of the Courthouse), Step Park (South of Courthouse), Campbell County Courthouse Annex and green space (East of the Courthouse), and Campbell County Rockpile Museum. The service provider will include a price break down of mowing costs/event, fertilizer cost/event, rock and flower bed maintenance cost/month, and pre-emergent application cost/season, for each site. Two fertilizer applications are required, a spring application and a summer/fall application. Mowing/trimming will be weekly and weed control will be as needed. All costs in connection with the work, including insurance, permits, overhead, furnishing all materials, equipment, and supplies; providing all equipment, and tools; and performing all necessary labor and supervision to fully complete the work, incidental work, clean-up, etc., shall be included in the unit and lump sum prices bid for all bid items. Service provider will be required to produce an insurance certificate with: Commercial General Liability: $1M per occurrence, $1M Employers Liability, $1M Personal and Advertising Injury, $1M umbrella, $2M Annual Aggregate. Commercial General Liability coverage shall not exclude Product/Completed Operations, Contractual Liability, or Cross Liability Business Automobile Liability: $1M per occurrence for owned, non-owned, hired. Campbell County and CCPRD named Additional Insured with Waiver of Subrogation. The service provider should provide verification that the company is in good standing with Wyoming Workers Compensation and Unemployment. The service provider must have a current, approved W-9 form on file with the County Clerk’s office to be able to work for the County. Services for each site will be performed weekly, based on the schedule determined by the successful bidder and CCPRD. Notification will be required to CCPRD prior to any changes to the schedule. County property sites and detailed square footage Submission of Proposal A walk through to explain the scope of work for both sites will be held at 9 am, April 10, 2025, starting at the front of the Courthouse Annex. The proposals are due to Kevin Geer, Parks Superintendent, 250 Shoshone Ave. Gillette WY, 82178 or emailed to Kevin Geer by 4:00 pm, April 17, 2025. Proposals shall include the price breakdown for mowing costs/event, fertilizer cost/event, rock and flower bed maintenance cost/month, and pre-emergent application cost/season with a total price for each site. The 4-J Site and the Courthouse Site will be bid as separate packages. Proposals may be submitted to one or both sites. A formal contract for services will be drafted between the CCPRD and the lawn care provider if selected. CCPRD will notify the successful contractor that they will be awarded the work. The Service Provider has 7 days to provide the following submittals to the CCPRD: Insurance Certificate Verification of good standing with Wyoming Workers Comp/Unemployment Valid W-9 Payment Payment will be made according to the current CCPRD accounts payable schedule. (Invoices received by 3:00 pm the Wednesday before the last Monday of the month will be processed for payment and checks mailed out on the Friday of the first full week of the following month.)
