Print Bid Title: Request for Bids - CDBG Business Façade Grant Project - 17 Court Street, Belfast (Part 3) Category: Economic Development Status: Closed Description: REQUEST FOR BIDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT BUSINESS FAÇADE GRANT PROJECT BASIL BURWELL COMMUNITY THEATER 17 COURT STREET, BELFAST The Basil Burwell Community Theater, home of the Belfast Maskers at the building located at 17 Court Street, Belfast, Maine , seek qualified vendors to provide bids for the following service: Rebuild the front retaining wall on both sides of the walkway on the Court Street side of the building. This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for this program. Davis-Bacon wage rates will apply for this project. The full bid package contains additional information regarding this scope of work. Bids are due at 3:00 PM, on Thursday, August 17th and can be either mailed or hand-delivered to: Thomas Kittredge, Economic Development Director, City of Belfast (Belfast City Hall, top floor), 131 Church Street, Belfast, Maine 04915. Bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place immediately following the bid deadline and will be open to the public. Answer 1: Yes, the material that is on-site is available for re-use by the contractor, however, if a match to those blocks cannot be found, the contractor is able to submit a bid proposing a different style of blocks.
